Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of www.restock.deals and purchase of the stock-alert service offered by Restock Deals (the “Service”). Placing an order constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.

The French version of these Terms is the authoritative legal text in case of discrepancy.

1. Publisher and contact

2. Service description

Restock Deals provides an information service: automated monitoring of indicative availability of certain products (notably the Midea PortaSplit in V1) at French retailers, and email notification when stock is detected in the user’s defined area (postal code + radius).

A stock dashboard is offered free of charge. Paid email alerts are optional.

Stock information is indicative: it comes from public sources or retailer interfaces and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Restock Deals does not guarantee in-store availability or the ability to purchase the product. The Service is not a marketplace and is not involved in selling the product.

3. Access and account

You may browse the dashboard without an account. Creating an account (magic link or Google) and/or buying an alert requires accurate information (email, area). You are responsible for keeping alert management links and your mailbox secure.

4. Offers and prices

Alerts are sold as a one-time payment with no automatic renewal:

• 1 week — €4.90 incl. tax — monitoring for 7 days;
• 1 month — €9.90 incl. tax — monitoring for 30 days.

Prices shown at checkout apply. Amounts are in euros, tax included when VAT applies. Restock Deals may change prices for future orders.

5. Order and payment

Orders are placed online via the alert form. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. The order is binding after payment confirmation. A confirmation / activation email is sent with a link to manage the alert.

The Service starts when the alert is activated after successful payment (“active” status).

6. Performance of the Service

During the purchased period we periodically check configured sources and email you when relevant stock is detected in your area, subject to third-party sources, your email address, and spam filters. Lack of notification does not entitle you to compensation if no availability was detected, or in case of temporary outages of retailers / our systems.

7. Withdrawal and refunds

Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract.

By requesting immediate performance (monitoring starts on payment), you acknowledge that the Service begins before the withdrawal period ends. Under Article L221-28 1° of the Consumer Code, withdrawal may no longer apply once the service is fully performed; if the Service started at your request during the withdrawal period, you remain liable for the portion provided until you notify withdrawal.

In practice, Restock Deals offers a pro-rata refund for unused days of the alert period (excluding any payment-provider fees), on request to support@restock.deals, subject to abuse. A Stripe refund cancels the related alert.

8. User obligations

You agree to:

• provide accurate information;
• not use the Service abusively, in an automated way beyond normal use, or unlawfully;
• not circumvent security or access others’ data.

9. Intellectual property

The site, brand, texts, logos, and software remain the property of Restock Deals or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited. Retailer and manufacturer trademarks belong to their owners.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Restock Deals is not liable for:

• wrong, missing, or outdated stock from retailers;
• inability to buy a product despite an alert;
• interruptions due to maintenance, force majeure, or third parties (host, Stripe, Resend, retailers);
• indirect damages (lost opportunity, lost profits, etc.).

If liability is established, it is limited to the amount incl. tax paid for the alert concerned.

These limits do not apply to wilful misconduct or gross negligence, bodily injury, or rights that cannot be waived (including consumer rights).

11. Personal data

Processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Duration, suspension, termination

An alert ends when the purchased period expires, on cancellation via the manage link, on refund, or for serious breach. Restock Deals may suspend the Service for abuse or security risk.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In a dispute you may use consumer mediation as provided by law before going to court. Failing agreement, competent French courts apply, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. The version in force on the order date applies. The update date is shown at the top of the page.
